It seems as though amazingly talented New Zealander Lorde is flyin' solo after reportedly splitting from her manager, and now we are starting to learn more about the move directly from the singer herself.
But first, we have to catch you up on the deets!
News is only breaking now, starting at the New Zealand Herald, which recently reported the singer and her manager Scott Maclachlan parted ways more than a month ago:
"Lorde has split from the man who discovered her and managed her rise to global super-stardom.
Sources have confirmed to the Herald that Lorde and Scott Maclachlan parted ways around a month ago but Maclachlan has refused to comment on the situation.
It is not known who is now managing the singer or why the relationship ended."
Neither Machlachlan nor Lorde (born Ella Yelich-O'Connor) commented publicly on the split in the past month, though she has been removed from the website of Saiko Management, Machlachlan's company.

With the story finally picking up steam, though, Lorde is possibly alluding to it on Twitter, where she's commenting on her career:
