Mysterious Uber cars are zipping around Pittsburgh, and witnesses aren't quite sure what to make of them


Uber is currently testing out several vehicles in the city, which are easy enough to pick out by the large gray contraption on top and the words "Uber Advanced Technologies Center" on the sides,
according to the Pittsburgh Business Times



The Pittsburgh Business Times originally published a purported image of one of Uber's self-driving vehicles. But Uber claims otherwise. "This is not a self-driving car," an Uber spokesperson told Mashable. "This vehicle is part of our early research efforts regarding mapping, safety and autonomy systems."
