Sonja Morgan has a lot of excuses.
On last week's episode of Real Housewives of New York City, we watched Sonja get crazy drunk and messy at Ramona Singer's birthday party in Atlantic City.

Many of the castmates, including Bethenny Frankel, were horrified to see Morgan stumbling around and acting foolish throughout evening and now the reality star has come forward to explain the concerning behavior.
Ms.Morgan explained:
"It happened, I went off the rails. I don't know what cheap booze I was drinking…but I hadn't eaten and I think with the bad mood in the group, the way it started off, you really shouldn't drink when you're with the wrong people in the wrong mood."
Well, at least the momma of one admitted she went off the rails! We just hope that it really was negative energy and bad booze that contributed to her out of control evening!
As for Sonja castmates mean comments about her fashion line, she stated:
"I don't have to lie about my castmates or knock their businesses or their hard-partying ways to be relevant and that makes me feel really secure and happy with myself—wherever I go."
Hmm. All we can say is that we hope everything works out!!
