It's hard to find a coming of age film with a fresh idea these days.

Though the upcoming comedy Dope isn't your typical high school comedy, it's unique voice gives a refreshing tone that's -- well, pretty dope!

The film takes place in Inglewood, CA and follows a band of teenage '90s hip-hop geeks just trying to make it to college and get out of the slums.
